Get Rid of All Your Hair-Worries!
If you are having too many “bad-hair” days recently, then perhaps it
is time for you to take better care of your crowning glory. Hairstyles
can make or mar a look; great hair is the best accessory to any outfit!
You may read the best fashion magazine and you may know everything about
the current hair styling trends like whether it is to be straightened or
curled, but if your hair is not healthy, no amount of expensive styling
will work. So instead of reading that fashion magazine you must first
develop a regular hair-care regimen.

Regular hair care should be a habit. Some very basic precautions can go
a long way in preventing hair damage; one such is the use of a proper
conditioner. Many of us use expensive shampoos almost daily to get that
extra bounce and forget the conditioner; in the process we daily strip
our hair of the natural oils. One can also indulge in hair-spa
treatments offered by many salons. It is not only good for your mane but
also a great stress buster! Regular use of conditioners makes curly hair
more manageable prevents fizzy hair and split ends. There are loads of
options available, there are conditioners that you can wash off and some
“leave-in” ones which are very good for damaged hair, seek help if you
are confused about your hair-type. You should also take great care to
rinse your hair properly after applying conditioner otherwise you will
end up with greasy hair.
These days we do not hesitate to punish our hair with regular use of hot
straightening irons, strong chemical hair-dyes and the terrible blow
dryer. Well no one is asking you to abandon the sleek glam look by
avoiding all that, but a little extra care wouldn’t hurt your hair!
Firstly as far as possible avoid using the hair dryer, but if you must,
then invest in a good hair serum, two little drops and your hair stays
protected from the hot air blasts. While cutting costs has become a part
of our lives in this recession hit era perhaps compromising with your
hair-dye isn’t a good idea. The cheap varieties often have harmful
chemicals; it is always advisable to check the pack carefully before
buying.
In case you already have damaged hair you should seek professional
treatment. Do not stick blindly to trends when it comes to hair color
and hairstyle. Choose a color that suits your complexion and a style
that best complements your facial structure and personality. While it is
important to tell your stylist what you want, it is equally important
for you to listen to advice; they are not “experts” without a reason!
Fringes, asymmetrical layers, may be the “in” trends but it may not
complement your lifestyle or personality.
A good hairstyle can work wonders for you and your confidence but for
all that you need a good stylist and you also need regular visits to the
salon. No point in going there once a year, it will leave you with messy
hair, full of split ends. Do not be afraid to experiment, but do that
sensibly! You do not have to go from waist length hair to a bob cut but
definitely you can add some fringes to give it a new edge. Fringes are a
great way of hiding a receding hairline too!
Do pay attention to your diet and lifestyle, if you are stressed you
will never get rid of that dandruff and worrying will only lead to more
hair loss. So drink loads of water and eat healthy to keep your hair in
great health!
